We're looking for a talented Credit Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in
analysing the financials of prospective clients looking to issue bonds. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting due diligence, assessing credit risk, and providing recommendations to the
Front Office team. You will work closely with the team to ensure delivery to clients while maintaining high credit quality.

    Responsibilities

    • Review credit submissions from the Front Office and provide recommendations to Approvers
      within the company.
      Assess credit risk of prospective companies looking to issue bonds and investment partners.
    • Articulate risk perception and manage the interaction and communication with Front Office
      teams, and attend meetings with clients where necessary.
    • Be flexible to work to tight deadlines under pressure, including working outside of contracted
      hours from time to time as workflow demands.
    • Collaborate with other risk and compliance functions where appropriate to ensure an
      enterprise-wide view of risk is considered.
    • Assist other team members by proactively taking work in a manner that ensures work is fairly
      distributed, particularly in times of strong workflow or staff absences.
    • Develop relationships within the team, seek guidance and advice from colleagues, express
      well-reasoned arguments, and influence senior management.
    • Support the recruitment and training of more junior staff.
    • Be involved in ad hoc projects supporting the strategy of the business.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in credit management, preferably within the debt capital markets.
    • Strong quantitative background with a solid understanding of accounting and financial data analysis.
    • Ability to conduct thorough due diligence and form a forward-looking view using cash flow modeling and stress testing.
    • Working knowledge of bond issuance, loan documentation, market risk, and key credit protections.
    • High level of IT literacy, including proficiency in Excel, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
